A decisive part of contemporary works of art lies in the encounter with, and the achievement of, a gesture. A single gesture that feels complete and that, in being performed, raises questions beyond its own action, beyond even the surface on which it takes place. These gestures can no longer be separated from the idea involved in conceiving them, nor from the art that accepts them as an intrinsic part of the work, understood as a portion of symbolic immateriality.

Waiting Area is part of an ongoing investigation. Through careful observation, I noticed dark marks traversing the city walls, approximately 40 cm above the ground, about 20 cm wide, with variable lengths. These marks result from wear and dirt caused by the repetitive action of resting feet and backs against the wall, visibly delineating improvised waiting spaces in the urban landscape.
By reactivating the lines printed on the reverse side of a postcard, the piece transforms elements designed for communication into compositional material, subverting their practical purpose and turning them into a formal language.

The Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges, in the short story The Plot (La Trama), reflected on repetition and replication, writing: “Fate loves repetitions, variations, symmetries.” A mirror effect in which the almost exact resemblance between two elements becomes harmonious and closes a circle… and it is precisely that mirror that the artist presents in Repetition in Repetition.

Engraving/Engraving consists of creating a textured pattern of horizontal lines that extend slightly beyond the midpoint of the plate. The process begins by inking and printing the plate, then, with the “ghost” of the previous impression, the plate is lifted and reprinted. In the central area, the layers overlap, producing three subtle tonal grays with a single, continuous gesture.
A pen attached to a computer mouse records the movements of an entire workday onto a surface.

how can specific, personal, and local singularities persist within a system that tends toward standardization, homogenization, and dehumanization? my practice emerges from the structural tension between norms and singular experience, between the systems that organize the world and the everyday forms, often minimal, deviant, or intuitive, through which standardization is lived, negotiated, or eroded. through attentive observation of routines and repetitive gestures, my work suggests that even the smallest actions can give rise to forms of subversion, microacts of resistance that challenge or circumvent imposed structures.
